Doing What You Need To Succeed
As a teenager Chatri Sityodtong’s family lost all its money in Thailand.
But Chatri won a place at Harvard University, and took his homeless Mum to live with him in his dorm room.
He set out on a business career that has seen him sell his Silicon Valley start-up company for millions.
Now aged 45, his latest venture is a mixed martial arts tournament,
televised across Asia, called the ‘One Championship’.
It may seem like a surprising move to make, but Chatri has always been a martial arts nut
– especially devoted to the discipline of Muay Thai.
Discover how he handled his challenges in his teenage years.
Overcoming them and getting to where he is today.
What can you learn and adapt from him?
Is there a takeaway for you?

Eric Thomas Speaks!
Getting Yourself Together And Helping Others
I am a big believer in helping others.
But how should you do it?
You need to help yourself first!
Only then, would you be equipped to help others.
Finding People Where They Are
You will have to meet people where the are and help them forward from there.
But how do you do that?
By asking questions and get them to talk.
You need to be a good listener. Listening proactively and empathetically.
Your aim should be to help them chart their course out of their present situation,
and into the new one you help them to envision.
Something To Keep In Mind
You can’t force people to do what they don’t want to do, or what you want them to do.
Try to encourage inspire and motivate. Be satisfied just to be a guiding hand.
You can’t do it for them. They have to do it for themselves.
I can’t say it any better than Dani Johnson; just listen how she does.
I have been hearing about options trading (especially binary options) for a long time. It always held my interest because it seems to make sense. Never had the guts to do it though until now.
What I have come to realize, is that lack of knowledge breeds fear and uncertainty. This is why I appreciate this revelation:

WHY SHOULD YOU LISTEN TO ME?
The argument can be made that I am not a trained expert. Anyone making that argument would be correct, because I am not a certified Nutritionist or Herbalist. Therefore I cannot legally give health advice on any treatment or therapies.
What I can do however, is tell you about my own journey and experience. I will also be sourcing experts, and research material that I found beneficial to me, and could be to you also.
MY HEALTH CHALLENGE:
I was listening to a PBS presentation some time ago that was featuring Mark Hyman, M.D. A practicing physician and an internationally recognized authority in the field of Functional Medicine, and he said something that caught my attention. What he said stood out because it sounded so absurd.
Dr. Hyman stated; “The best way to get healthy, is to get a disease and take the best care of it”.
Does that sound right to you? Does it make any sense whatsoever? Why would a supposedly responsible M.D. make such an outrageous statement? Was he just trying to shock his audience into paying attention? If he was, it worked on me. As I said before, it caught my attention, and had me perking up listening for a clarification, which he did give.
Dr. Hyman’s Point:
Why I was so taken aback with Dr. Hyman’s statement, am that I heard all my life and believed in the well known cliché, “Prevention Is Better than a Cure”. Which is true for the most part? But as I continued listening, I came to realize what he was saying, is that for the most part, people are in general not disciplined enough to take proper preventative care of their health to avoid diseases. But if they should unfortunately, “or fortunately” get one, what then?
I remember one well known motivational speaker Jim Britt who use to say, People always take action, out of desperation or inspiration”, which I have found to be true in many cases. And that was what Dr. Hyman was getting at. People usually sober up when they get a serious diagnosis. It is then they will listen. It is then they will take action.
How many times have you heard someone say: I shouldn’t eat this or that, I should start exercising, I should stop smoking, or drinking so heavily, I should start eating healthier foods? Does it not seem people know what to do, but do not have the will or motivation to do it? You can therefore understand as I did Dr. Hyman’s point of having a disease and taking the best care of it.
For example: suppose you were diagnosed with diabetes, and you started eating really healthy foods coupled with other healthy activities. What effect do you think that that would have on your body? Or to go further, your individual cells? Just think about it and let me know.

I was (I thought), a very healthy 26 year-old young man. I took pride in a healthy athletic looking body, and basked in the admiration of both male and female. Although sometimes it made me feel a little awkward, especially on the beach where I would be questioned a lot about what I was into, or just overhearing some comments being made. But everything changed, almost overnight! Just hold on a moment I will tell you after I collect my thoughts.
